Other devices which don’t have to be connected directly to the source of heating are used for heating regulation. These include regulation devices for the control of attenuation, and programmable time switches which work together with another regulation element or device that can disconnect some appliances (circuits) at the time of “peak demand” and thus lower the requirements for the size of the main circuit breaker for the building.
